Personal finance without a spreadsheet habit

Export the bank statement once a month, ask questions the rest of the time. A weekly spend report writes itself and runs in your browser.

The budgeting apps want your bank login. The spreadsheet wants an hour every Sunday. Neither survives a busy month. This does, because the only recurring chore is a file you drop into a chat.

Once a month

Export the statement and drop it into the chat in the web app. The first time creates the table expenses; every month after appends.

Ask your spreadsheet a question
  1. expenses-2026.csv

    Here's my bank export

  2. Imported 312 rows into the table expenses — 4 columns, dates from January to August.

  3. How much did I spend on restaurants in August?

  4. €412.30 across 17 visits. The top three:

    Restaurants, August 2026

    merchantvisitstotal
    Trattoria Nonna5€148.00
    Bao House4€96.50
    Café Lumen3€61.20

    14 more rows

Whenever you wonder

Ask the question you would otherwise not bother to compute — from the web app or from Telegram.

A chart from a sentence
  1. Chart my spending per merchant this quarter, top five

  2. Top five merchants, July to September.

    Spend per merchant, Q3 2026

    Rewe
    €612
    Deutsche Bahn
    €388
    Amazon
    €297
    Trattoria Nonna
    €214
    Spotify
    €36

Once, ever

“Make me a weekly spend report by category.” The assistant writes an automation; you pin it into a note called Money. Open the automation and it recalculates on the latest rows — in your browser, with no server reading your finances.

A report the AI writes and your browser runs
  1. Make me a weekly spend report by category, with a chart

  2. Created “Weekly spend”. It re-runs on your data every time you run it — nothing leaves your browser.

    Weekly spend

    Ran in your browser

    This week

    €386

    −12% vs last week

    Groceries
    €142
    Restaurants

    Transport
    €58
    Subscriptions

What it replaces

The budgeting app you stopped opening, the spreadsheet with the broken pivot, and the guilt about both.

Questions

Does it connect to my bank?

No. You export a CSV from your bank once a month and drop it into the web app. No credentials are shared, and the data stays in your account.

What if the export format changes?

New columns are added to the table automatically. Renamed columns you fix once by telling the assistant which is which.
