How to upload a CSV and turn it into a table

Drop a CSV or JSON file into the web app and get a queryable table back. Three steps, one message.

Later uploads to the same table name append rows; new columns extend the table. Documents — a PDF, a text file — are kept as files: the assistant reads them and can summarise one into a note.

  1. Export the file

From your bank, shop system or spreadsheet, export CSV (UTF-8) or JSON. Column headers in the first row.

  2. Drop it into the chat

In the web app, attach the file to a message. Say what it is if the filename is unclear — “bank export, table expenses”. The Files tab takes uploads too.

    Ask your spreadsheet a question
    1. expenses-2026.csv

      Here's my bank export

    2. Imported 312 rows into the table expenses — 4 columns, dates from January to August.

    3. How much did I spend on restaurants in August?

    4. €412.30 across 17 visits. The top three:

      Restaurants, August 2026

      Trattoria Nonna5€148.00
      Bao House4€96.50
      Café Lumen3€61.20

      14 more rows

  3. Ask a question

The reply tells you the table name, row count and columns. Ask anything about the data in plain language.

    A chart from a sentence
    1. Chart my spending per merchant this quarter, top five

    2. Top five merchants, July to September.

Questions

What size is allowed?

Files up to 50 MB. Larger data can be uploaded in parts to the same table — later uploads append.

Can I name the table?

Yes — say the name in the message. Otherwise the assistant picks one from what the data is.

Can I send the file in Telegram or WhatsApp?Soon

Not yet. The bots read text today; attaching a file in the messenger is on the list. Rows typed into the chat — “add: 12 Sep, Rewe, 43.20, groceries” — work everywhere.
